I recently had the absolute honor and joy of working alongside Mirjana and Dawson on their wedding day. It was, by far, the largest wedding I’ve photographed, with over 400 guests and a 22-person wedding party. And somehow, despite the size, the day felt incredibly connected and full of heart. The most amazing part? You could feel the love and excitement from every single guest. Everyone there was genuinely invested in Mirjana and Dawson and the journey they’re beginning together.

Their wedding took place at Forrest at Haven Hill an oasis tucked away in the California Valley, about 3 hours north of San Luis Obispo, surrounded by 33 acres of pistachio trees. The venue itself felt like a hidden gem, offering a peaceful and beautiful setting that perfectly matched the warm, joyful energy of the day.

The ceremony took place under a canopy of trees, and even with 400 people, it still felt incredibly personal and intimate. Their wedding party brought such a fun energy cheering them on every step of the way and the entire day flowed with so much joy. You could tell everyone there wasn’t just attending a wedding, they were showing up for two people they truly love.
